Well it's been a whole month since we went camping, but it's time to blog about it! We headed to the same place we went last year, Eagle Rock, and went with the Matchell's again. Our kids LOVE camping. I will say that this year has been the best yet! I think it must only get easier as they get older!
Joe had a lot of help setting up the tent (not from me...)
Everyone loves building a fire and keeping it going. We had some yummy food over the fire this year....grilled sandwiches, burritos, eggs and sausage, and of course hotdogs and s'mores! :)
The campsite we have is just a short walk down to the swimming area. We spent hours and hours there.
See, happy faces! We survived and actually slept ok!! :)
What a fun weekend!
We will miss our yearly camping adventures with the Matchell's when they move to Africa next year, but we will enjoy them while we have them here!
