Big boy carseat

Joey outgrew his baby carseat and is now in a big boy carseat. He still has to be rear-facing for a while yet, but he looks so old when I put him in it. He seems to like it though.

Weekend in Kansas

We went to Kansas this weekend to visit our sister-in-law, Val, and our two nieces Mackenzie and Bella. It was the first time we met Bella. She is the sweetest little girl and such a good baby. I got a lot of cuddles and smiles from her. Joey loved hanging out with Mackenzie. He just adores her. Joey wasn't as interested in Bella, mainly because she doesn't move or talk. Mackenzie always wanted to help with Joey, which was really nice for me!

Joey and Mackenzie took a few baths together in Nana's big tub. Joey loved having Mackenzie in the bath with him. Mackenzie kept filling up the big cup and pouring water over Joey's head. Usually Joey would not tolerate this, but since Mackenzie did it he thought it was hilarious!

So, I realized after we got home that I didn't take any pictures of Joey and Bella on my camera. Usually I am the crazy camera lady, but for some reason I didn't take a ton of pictures this weekend. We did take all three kids to JCPenney on Saturday to get their picture taken together. It was quite a feat to get all three of them smiling for the picture. Val, Katie and I got our workout for the day by dancing around to get them to smile. When I get the pictures I will post one.

An Official Blogger

At the urging of my sister-in-law, I have decided to join the blog world. We'll see how it goes.

A few warnings about reading my blog: I am not a very funny person. This worries me, because the blogs I read I think are humerous and fun to read. I apologize in advance. Warning number two...I won't be a "post something everyday blogger." This may surprise those of you who e-mail with me "regularly," but I'll at least try to keep my readers updated on how Joey is doing and post new pictures of him.
